We will have cogeneration onsite. Do the credit requirements apply to all electricity used onsite, or only that which is purchased from the grid?

GREEN POWER AND CARBON OFFSETS - 5 years contract

Hi,

The property owner has had a green electricity agreement with the electricity supplier for many years. However, here in Sweden, people do not usually sign binding contracts and have insted contracts on an ongoing basis. Therefore I am wondering if a statement from the property owner to buy 100% green electricity for at least 5 years in the future would be enough? Or we must sign a 5-year green electricity contract?

I believe that you have to have a 5 year contract or buy 5 years worth all at once in the case of RECs.
