Does your firm have internal standards for materials/products?

We are putting together a free guide for firms who have not yet started to figure out what their internal standards are for healthy, low carbon materials/products.

As part of this effort, we are looking to gather from all of you who already have standards - examples and precedent.

Also we are collecting standards from clients/owners (so if you have clients that have them, please let me know!)

If your firm does have standards:

1. If you are willing to share what your standard is by email - we would love to learn about it EVEN if you do not want to be cited or have your info shared (we will keep it confidential, but it will still help us understand the baseline of what the current state is, at least in this group!)

2. If you are open to being cited and willing to share your approach - please let us know in your email, otherwise we will just assume it is private and not to be shared

3. We will share back a draft of the Guide to this group for any feedback before finalizing it and then we will post a link here when its up - and encourage promoting it to any peers outside of this group who need it!

Send any info you have to me (bb@sustainable-performance.org)

* If you are swamped and don't have time to send an email with all the detail - just shoot me a quick message so I can put you on my list and I can follow up with you when you come up for air!

Thank you!!

Barbra

Hello Barbra: SERA Architects has been developing methods and standards that could be useful to others. Some we have already shared in SDL venues. Please give me a call to discuss. Mobile is best. Thank you,  Dave David M Johnson, AIA Principal
