Greetings Sustainable Design Leaders,

As we begin closing out 2021, we wanted to give you a quick update that the next SDL Salary Survey will be coming to you in early January! The BuildingGreen team and SDL Steering Group have been busy this past month polishing up the questions for this anonymous survey.

A reminder of the process: we'll invite you all to participate in taking the survey in January, BuildingGreen will collect the data, and then share back a report to everyone who participated to get a picture of how someone in this type of role is compensated.

Feel free to reach out with any questions in the new year, otherwise, stay tuned for more details in January!

Happy New Year Sustainable Design Leaders! It’s back by popular demand--the SDL Salary survey. The results of this survey could be helpful to you in negotiating your own compensation, or in setting salaries for staff you might be looking to hire. To complete the Sustainable Design Leaders Salary Survey, please look for my email via Survey Monkey. If you are not seeing this email in your inbox, check your junk folders first, and maybe add Survey Monkey to your safe sender list. If you still are not seeing this email, let me know and I will work with you directly.

The final report will only be shared with those who submit a completed survey. The more responses we receive, the more robust a report BuildingGreen will be able to provide respondents with after being compiled. Responses are due before January 21st. This is an anonymous survey, therefore we will not be able to confirm your submission data nor be able to correct it once submitted.

Hello Everyone, I wanted to drop in with a quick update about the SDL Salary Survey. So far we have 85 submissions, you all are hitting this one out of the park!

As a point of reference, this is almost half of the SDL network which is awesome. Do you think we can surpass a 50% response rate? That would mean we'd need at least 15 more responses if you are up for the challenge! And an important reminder: the Salary Survey report is only shared with those that participate. If you are eager to see this report by the end of February make sure your submission is in by end of day Friday, January 21st! If you are not seeing the email from Survey Monkey with the survey link, I am happy to get you connected so email me directly as soon as possible, roseann@buildinggreen.com.
