We have aproject that had envelope comissioning inspecton done, are there any samples of a report or any guidance for the consultant that completed the inspection? He is new to LEED and wants to make sure he provides us with an adequate report. We never had one done in previous projects. Thank you in advance.

Hi,
did you perhaps ask USGBC about that issue? If so, did you get a response?

We have been subcontracting and documenting BE Cx for years in v2009 and v4.
We upload BE field observation reports, testing matrix and testing results, issues and resolutions log, and O&M data. BE CxP also reviews design details, specs and submittals but we don't upload anything related to those activities. Our only GBCI review comments resulted from skipping the Issues and Resolutions log or the O&M data. We recently heard a GBCI reviewer required a CxP to attend & sign all Training session sign in sheets. I don't know if this would apply to BE as well. We do attend most sessions to verify they are at least as good as the approved Agenda, are being recorded and we encourage Q&A to engage participants.

Thumbs up to Joyce, as this has been our approach as well. We did receive a new GBCI comment on a recent Cx report "the Commissioning Authority did not sign and date every functional testing report that was uploaded".
posting this commnent here so that others can ensure testing reports are signed/dated by the Cx professional.
