We plan on pursuing this credit only if we need to do so to meet our certification target, i.e. if another credit we are counting on gets rejected. How late can we apply for this credit?

CS-2009 EAc4:Enhanced Refrigerant Management

Refrigerant of cooling system of tenant’s Data Center in LEED CS

We are participating in LEED CS v2009 certification in an office building.

This project consists of changing the HVAC system in the building.

During the remodeling, this building was occupied by a tenant which is not participating in the certification.

Before the remodeling, this tenant had a Data Center and a cooling system.

And he has kept these equipments after the remodeling. The building owner is not responsible of these equipments.

Is it mandatory to include the refrigerant of cooling system of tenant’s Data Center in the calculation of Enhanced Refrigerant Management?
