Combined bicycle and scooter storage

Dear all,

can we use bicycle storage for scooters as well? Scooters are getting more and more popular and also considered to be an alternative kind of transportation.

Hi Ekaterina, The intent of this credit is to promote bicycling and transportation efficiency and reduce vehicle distance traveled and to improve public health by encouraging utilitarian and recreational physical activity. Therefore, if your scooter definition is such as electric motorcycle and cannot encourage physical activity like cycling, I doubt it can be accepted. Thanks

As long as you have the required number of long and short term bicycle storage spaces in accordance with the LEED reference guide, I don't see why you couldn't provide additional spaces for co-located scooter parking.
