GWP Tracking without an EPD?

Hi All

I'm wondering if any of you know how to track the GWP for materials that do not have an EPD?  I'm trying to do a carbon comparison on batteries but neither one has an EPD that I can find.  Thanks for any guidance you may have.

Laura, I don't think this is possible. Maybe it is and I'm not aware. I think there are a number of databases where you can compare between generic product types like fiberglass insulation vs. spray foam, but if you are comparing specific products - especially between products of the same kind - I believe you need something like an EPD / LCA. The one exception I know of is concrete, where there are calculators you can use to determine GWP of different mixes without them having EPD's. Sorry to not have a better answer for you Steven Burke.
