Material Requirements for Consultants

I'm looking to draft some one-page briefs for my consulting engineers to outline what we would like to see in their specs regarding certain materials and systems. For example, letting the plumbing and civil engineers know that we prefer to eliminate PVC pipe and want them to specify alternatives like Polypropylene, cast iron, ABS, etc. The idea would be to give these one-pagers to consultants at the start of the project. Do any of you have documents like this that you can share as examples or templates?

Thank you,

Hi Kristian, We have a similar resource that is publicaly available on our wesbite.  It gives some referenced, scientific background as to the problems with the specific chemical of concern and then why it is important to architects/owners/contractors to eliminate them from our work.  There is also a table of safer alternatives listed for each chemical.  See this link here and feel free to use and share:  https://millerhull.com/wp-content/uploads/Miller-Hull-Red-List.pdf    Chris Hellstern Living Building Challenge Services Director The Miller Hull Partnership
