“How Good is this Product?” - Multi-Attribute Assessment of Products and Product Selection Management Tools
Thursday, August 19th, 2021
12pm - 1pm ET (9am - 10am PT)

Description

The future of product selection
Sustainability in products used to be about recycled content, local sourcing and low VOCs. Now, multiple PhDs are required in toxicology, embodied carbon, circularity, social equity and ESG, just to make a simple product decision. The complexity of the topic is increasingly leading to decision paralysis or partially informed choices.

This session will introduce an approach to holistic product selection and how it is being implemented and where the future lies. We’ll cover a scoring framework that is attempting to cut through the complexity, a cloud-based solution looking to make it scalable and an architect's viewpoint of how both are needed to change our profession.

This presentation is set up as a Zoom meeting (rather than a webinar) to facilitate discussion. Participation will be welcomed! The session will be recorded and posted to the Peer Networks Hub. Please note this webinar is for Peer Networks members only.
