NC-v4 EAc2:Optimize energy performance

Calculator

Hi,

 

I'm a beginner with the LEED v4 and the calculator for the EAc2 credit. I'm asked about the interest of the calculator. We put the simulation results in it so what is it used for ? Does is it used for any calculation or all the informations about opaque assemblies, lighting, HVAC etc... are put in the spreadsheet just to inform the LEED organisation and to attest the conformity of the project ?

The purpose of the forms are to present a summary of the energy modeling inuts and outputs in a way that can be evaluated for credit compliance.
