Glare Control in a Historic Building

Dear all,

in one of our projects the historical listed facade is preserved. Due to the protection of historical monuments, only as few changes as possible may be made to the facade. This is opposed to an exterior glare shield, while an interior glare shield would not be permitted in some areas for fire protection reasons.
In your opinion, would it be possible to exclude the areas in question from the requirements?

Thanks!
