In a Multifamily Residential Building project, we are seeking to obtain the Water Metering credit. Under option 2 it is proposed that it is possible to obtain 1 point by installing a permanent water meter for each residential housing unit that measures the total use of potable water for the unit.
As "drinking water use" is clearly stated, is it not necessary to measure the water reused within the project? Since in our building we propose the reuse of rainwater, and it will also be used in the toilets of the housing units.
Is it possible to obtain the credit by measuring only the drinking water network and not the reuse network?
