I just learned from a LEED review report that owner's renovating their own space must "identify one or more viable locations, undertake the comparison outlined in Site Selection requirements, and complete all associated documentation" when pursuing this credit on a LEED v4 CI certication within their building.
Thought it was an odd requirement, and not what my initial understanding was, so I thought I would post.
My guess is that this language will soon be updated to better align with such project scopes.
