I know I have seen a CIR that discusses the quantity of copiers made and/or the "health" metrics associated with a photocopier such that when there are no hazardous gases from a photocopier that the print/copy rooms are NOT required to be negatively pressurized, have a hard lid ceiling or self-closing doors. Does anyone know what these requirements are or where I can find this CIR?

If it's just a regular copy room like you would see in a typical office, those spaces are not usually covered by these requirements. The threshold for determining is based on how many copies per month will be typically generated. Here is the CIR (found by going to the LI database [http://www.usgbc.org/leed-interpretations?Entry+Type=%5B%22LEED%20Interp... and entering 'copy' as a key word...narrowed it down to 3 results):
http://www.usgbc.org/leedaddenda/10077 (#10077)
"To clarify LEED-NC EQ Credit 5 CIR rulings dated 9-24-01 and 8-3-04, all copy/printer rooms are subject to the requirements for LEED-NC and LEED-CI EQ Credit 5 if the number of pages printed in the room is expected to be more than 40,000 pages (20,000 double-sided) per month."
This is the one I'm aware of, anyway. Hope that helps.
