Project boundary

Hi, we are building an airport under new construction (2009). The construction works include the concourse, taxi stands and taxiways. Are we able to draw the project site boundary around the concourse and exclude the taxiways and taxi stands?

I believe you should add within project boundary all area impacted by development, including taxiways and taxi stands.

You can review a document published by USGBC about LEED on Airport projects with specific inquiries about what to include on the LEED boundary. It seems you are certifying the terminal; then you should include the taxi stands and taxiways as they are part of the terminal operation.

To follow up on Vanessa's comment, I believe you'll need to contact either GBCI or LEED Coach in order to obtain a copy of the guidance they have tailored to airport projects. It's titled "Considerations for LEED v4 BD+C Airport Projects". Last time I asked them about it, they told me it wasn't available for public access like the other Reference Guides / tools.
