Anyone else attempt this credit as a large industrial facility? We did and even though our water saved is astronomically more (7000 times more) than in our flow flush, outdoor water use, we actually earn more points by following that path because we can only show 42% reduction using teh whole building method. Would be great for this technical team to talk to industrial teams on how to make this credit more feasible since water savings is a huge part of these facility's story.

Yes, we are attempting this Pilot Credit as an Innovation point, not as a replacement of the WE prerequisites and credits. We found similar results as described above. Process water demand is significantly larger than restrooms, but we could not show enough savings using the whole building method to warrant swapping out the WE prerequisites and credits. I agree; credit thresholds should be adjusted for industrial facilities since they are consuming such large quantities of process water (e.g., 18,000 kgal per year).

Jill and Chloe, I agree. We were able to see useful savings in a project because of the vast amounts of available municipally supplied reclaimed water. The pilot credit survey asked about what other standards might be useful for this ACP; I am not aware of any, but seeking those out (or encouraging their creation) might be the way to go for industrial projects. Although the greatest impact I can think of is to talk more with our local municipalities, to determine if there are any viable options for reclaimed water there.
