We are doing energy model for laboratory spaces under LEED ID+C v4 rating system. The builing is using the water cooled chiller for air conditioning. Total conditioned areas of the building is more than 1,50,000 sq.ft.

Baseline: 80% of areas are lab. 20% of areas are office.

Can we consider Laboratories guidelines mentioned in COMNET http://www.comnet.org/node/111 to select the baseline system for LEED Submission.

As per COMNET the baseline systems are,

System 6 - PVAV for lab spaces is , System 8 for Office spaces.

Can you guide us whether the above approach (Laboratories guidelines mentioned in COMNET) is correct?

The baseline should be according to ASHRAE 90.1-2010 Appendix G. So not you can't use COMNET.
