My question to our LEED Coach:
The Energy Star Commercial Clothes washer criteria applies to a maximum capacity of 8 cubic feet with an Integrated Water Factor of = 4.0 and Modified Energy Factor of = 2.20.
The LEED credit states for a Commercial Clothes water that the appliance is to be Energy Star or performance equivalent.
On this project, the industrial sized clothes washer has a capacity of 20.8 cubicfeet.
Is the credit requirement intended to apply to an industrial sized washer?

Their answer was:
It is not considered in WEc Indoor Water Use Reduction and the companion credit. It may be excluded from documentaiton.
It would only be considered if the project includes process water use under WEpc115 Whole Building Water Use Reduction.
