For a LEED CI 2.0 submission, is it acceptable to claim the second point for EAc1.1 (Option B), because of the use of furniture-mounted occupancy sensors on task lights as allowed under ASHRAE 90.1-2007?

Ruling

LEED-CI v2.0 uses ASHRAE 90.1-2004 as the baseline, which provides this exemption in addendum M. It should be noted that to qualify for this exemption, the task lighting itself must be furniture mounted, be controlled by automatic shutoff, and comply with ASHRAE 90.1-2004 Section 9.4.1.4 (d). Applicable internationally.
