For multi-family projects, can the clothes washer credits in EA 9.1 & 9.2 be awarded even if each unit does not have an individual clothes washer? If common clothes washers can earn the credit, is there a minimum number of clothes washers needed?
Ruling
Multi-family projects can earn EA 9.1 & 9.2 with common space clothes washers, on the following conditions: 1) for any units that have in-unit clothes washers, these must also meet the requirements of EA 9.1 & 9.2; 2) all other units must have access to the common space clothes washers; 3) there must be at least one washer for every 8 units.
