For part (e-i), does even finished cellulosic material (e.g. siding, exterior trim) need to be treated with a borate product? What about interior wood (e.g. flooring, trim)?
Ruling
Part (e-i) applies to finished exterior wood that meets the foundation, or structural courses of the building. It does not apply to interior finished wood (e.g. flooring, trim). Items need to be finished on all sides and edges.
