If there are existing structures within 100 ft of water that will not be disturbed, these are exempted from part (c). If there are existing structures within 100 ft of water that will be disturbed, the project does not meet part (c) and credit cannot be awarded unless a separate project-specific CIR is submitted and granted.Any project-specific CIRs related to disturbing existing built structures within 100 ft of water should demonstrate that the activity will improve the protection of the nearby water body. Project teams must submit a description of all activities that will occur within 100 ft of the water body, and how protection of the water body will be improved.
