Can this prerequisite be satisfied if individual measures in the thermal bypass inspection checklist are not met? For example, if the area behind the tub/shower was not sufficiently enclosed.
Ruling
According to ENERGY STAR, the energy rater "shall use their experience and discretion" to determine whether a home passes or fails the thermal bypass inspection. LEED for Homes follows this same principal, but every project must pass the TBC.
