Do outside house dimensions have to be used for homes made with extra thick walls, such as SIPs, ICFs, straw-bale, etc.?
Ruling
The home size calculation must include exterior walls. However, for homes with walls that are thicker than 8", the home size can be calculated to the centerline of the thick walls.
