If a product contains some post-consumer and some post-industrial recycled content, can the two be added together to comply with MR 2.2? For example: for a product that has 20% post-consumer AND 20% pre-consumer, can it be counted as 30% post-consumer (20% + 1/2 * 20%)?
Ruling
If a product contains both post-consumer and pre-consumer (post-industrial) recycled content, you can combine the totals. Post-industrial recycled-content is counted at half the value as post-consumer recycled content. The example provided is correct.
