The LEED -h standard on \'stains\' is 250 grams/L VOC, but the handbook and checklist don\'t deal with the concept of pre-finishing the millwork elsewhere. It seems to me the VOC in the finish is a different matter in a finishing shop where other regulations and systems may be in place to control outside releases and protect the workers. Can a project using pre-finished products (i.e. trim) qualify for this point?
