For part (b), is there a size limitation on pavers for them to be considered permeable paving? Should only the open part of the open paver be treated as "permeable"?
The entire open paver system (i.e., not just the open part) can qualify for credit as "permeable paving" under SS 4.1, part (b), contingent on the following: (1) the other requirements of part (b) are met, including sub-base and proper drainage; (2) the open paver system is installed by a professional, or in the case of off-the-shelf products it is installed according to the manufacturer specs; and (3) the Green Rater and Provider are satisfied (through manufacturer\'s specs, calculations by the project team, etc.) that the design can accommodate a two-year, 24-hour design storm without runoff occurring.
