Can small homes use CFM/sf of building enclosure area? If so, what is the performance requirement? The current metric, ACH50, is punitive for very small homes.
Ruling
No - unless or until EPA or USGBC can identify comparable performance thresholds using CFM/sf of building enclosure, EA 3 may only be satisfied using ACH50.
