One of my LEED for Homes projects is working with the standard CSA F326 (from the Heating, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning Institute (HRAI) of Canada) instead of with ASHRAE (relates to credit EQ 4). Is this standard acceptable in place of ASHRAE?
Ruling
Meeting the requirements of CSA F326 is adequate for satisfying EQ 4.1 (whole house ventilation) and EQ 5.1 (local exhaust) for homes in Canada.
