Achieve exemplary performance with respect to the use of fly ash in foundation concrete and ICF walls.Increase the use of fly ash in the concrete mix for both the foundation and the ICF walls beyond the minimum required for credit, to further reduce the use of Portland cement.Use 50% fly ash in all foundation footings and walls, resulting in a 60% further reduction of Portland cement compared with the minimum required to earn credit in MR2.2 for foundation (1/2 point) and concrete wall structure (1/2 point). The project team requests a bonus 1/2 point for each of the two components, or 1 point total for this IDR. Invoices and calculations showing the use of high-volume fly ash concrete used in the project. Declaration from the concrete supplier stating that the mix design included 50% fly ash replacement for Portland cement. To reduce the project-related atmospheric CO2 emissions associated with Portland cement production - 60% greater reductions compared with the minimum required for the credit.
