LEED for Homes does allow electronic signatures. Electronic signatures include pre-scanned signature files that are copied onto the checklist file, or a e-signatures created by one of various software programs (e.g. Adobe). If an electronic signature is used, it\'s the responsibility of the QAD to confirm that the signers understand where and how their electronic signature is being used. This can be achieved by e-mail or phone communications. This policy will change once LEED for Homes is integrated with LEED Online, at which point a more formalized electronic signature process will be used.
