Can a project earn EPP credit for using the following product for siding? Natural Hydraulic Lime Plaster was the exterior surface of choice for all buildings and site retaining walls for this project because it is an environmentally preferable product.
Ruling
This material can earn credit as an EPP under "Exterior Wall - siding or masonry" (i.e., be awarded 1/2 point). The TASC approved this approach, because of the embodied energy of lime plaster relative to conventional cement stucco. This ruling is generally applicable. The TASC recommends that NHL should be added to the EPP table in future versions of the Rating System.
