Credits in the SS and WE categories may only be awarded if there is permanent designed landscape. The soil or "ground" does not need to be native or pre-existing, and may be located over a podium or as part of a vegetated roof, but vegetation in temporary or mobile planters cannot be used to meet the credit requirements.
