How should various SS and WE credits be applied for buildings that are constructed to the edge of the lot-line, but have vegetation located somewhere on the project - e.g., courtyards.
Ruling
If there is designed landscape on the site, the SS and WE prerequisites and credits should be applied as per the Rating System language, regardless of whether the landscaping is external to the building or located within a courtyard. Special rules may apply to buildings constructed over a podium - see SS 02-47.
