For radiant floor heating systems that have no flow control valves, can this credit be earned? Should it be awarded automatically?
For radiant floor heating systems without flow control valves, this credit can only be earned if each room has thermostatic control. In order to earn this credit, the occupant must have some control over the temperature in each room. If a radiant floor heating system has zones that serve multiple rooms, and no method for room-by-room control over temperature or flow, the intent of this credit has not been met.
