LEED for Homes does not review specific pieces of software. The burden of proof is on the project team to demonstrate to the Green Rater and QAD\'s satisfaction that the tool can be used to calculate room-by-room loads and proper equipment sizing, taking into consideration standard assumptions about residential occupant loads, outdoor temperatures, indoor setpoints, infiltration, envelope specifications, etc. Any software tool that incorporates assumptions based on commercial building applications should not be used.
