For part (b), does the home have to be situated so the longer side of the home is within 15 degrees of due east-west? In other words, does the east- and west-facing wall area need to be smaller than the south- and north-facing wall area?
Ruling
There is no requirement that the home be constructed so the long axis is within 15 degrees of due east-west. As long as the one of the primary axes is within 15 degrees of due east-west, this subpart of the credit is satisfied.
