LEED for Homes awards credit for "reclaimed" lumber, which has generally been defined as post-consumer salvaged material. Can credit be awarded EPP credit for the use of "reclaimed urban lumber", which comes from felled urban forest that may otherwise go to landfill or a chipper. These typically include trees that would be removed for development, storm etc.
Reclaimed urban lumber is material that would otherwise have gone to waste and is not the result of a preconsumer manufacturing process. By default its reclamation is \'post\' consumer reuse or recycling, given that there are no other stages left.
