For the Interior Walls and Ceilings and Millwork / Paints and Coatings component, can the low-emissions specification be met by meeting the relevant requirements in GS-11 2nd edition 2008? This is the update to GS-11 1st Edition 1993, which is cited in Table 25.
Ruling
For the Interior Walls and Ceilings and Millwork / Paints and Coatings component, meeting the requirements in GS-11 2nd edition 2008 is an acceptable alternative to meeting the requirements in GS-11 1st Edition 1993. However, if a project satisfies the current requirements in the Rating System (i.e. those that reference GS-11 1st Edition 1993), credit should still be awarded.
