This project has a humidistat that will call for the air conditioning to run if the preset humidity is exceeded - regardless of temperature. Thus, the A/C is the dehumidifier. Is that acceptable for earning this credit?
Ruling
This approach is not acceptable; the system must be able to dehumidify without providing cooling.
