While the garage is not underground, the net reduction of the heat island surfaces appears to be above 50% of the parking space area. Provide an engineering calculation that shows the net exposed surface area of the garage roof and elevations created by the structured parking total to less than 50% of the parking space area. To capture additional points for exemplary heat island reduction, use the Innovation Credit process to document the benefits and achievement of the open grid pavement.
