Educational Program We understand that LEED credit interpretations for ID points for educational programs have been awarded based on achieving two of the following three elements: 1) develop and implement an educational outreach program. 2) Develop an education manual, guidelines or case sutdy which can be reproduced and distributed. 3)Incorporate comprehensive permanent signage describing sustainable building elements. We would like a clarification to assist in the development of an educational program that will meet these requirements. Specifically, will the following be deemed sufficient to achieve a LEED ID point for implemeentation of a building education program? 1. Educational Signage: To include the following: a. Interior general signage: Two sets of two (four total) framed color prints; approximately 24" x 36" each. One shall depict "water/hydrologic issues and the building" and the other shall depict "green building features" of the facility. b. Interior and exterior locational signage (coordinated with the green features of the project indicated on the Educational Brochure): Approximately 6 interior wall mounted, and 6 exterior pole mounted flat metal signs. White, with black lettering. 2. Educational Brochure: An educational brochure intended for public distribution. The brochure shall identify selected green features of the facility (coordinated with the locational signage) and provide information on sustainable living. It is anticipated that brochure shall be approximately 11" x 17" b&w and color; folded to provide four-page handout. 3. Educational Manual: An educational manual for Owner\'\'s employees. Manual shall present environmental impacts related to buildings and outline the green features of the Project.
