Interpretation request - Innovation in Design: Education and Dissemination The four buildings (a, b, c, d) of M-40 VALDEFUENTES, now called PARQUE EMPRESARIAL ALVENTO, will be let to tenants in spaces of 250 m2 or multiples of that number. The owner of the buildings proposes to do a Manual of sustainable use for building tenants and an interactive CD-ROM to be disseminated within tenants and the industry. The Manual and the CD-ROM will have an English version to be given to the USGBC for its dissemination. Does this two things apply for a credit or is the owner required to do something more, like a web page or a case study? If the answer is affirmative, there is a minimum content that the Manual and the CD-ROM, must have or is free? If there is a minimum, we will be very pleased to receive your indications.
The project appears to be producing a tenant fit-out manual, but has not provided any details about the content that will be covered in this manual. On their own, tenant fit-out manuals do not qualify for an innovation credit. The strategy proposed in this CIR could however contribute to an innovation education credit as part of a comprehensive sustainability educational program. Please refer to ID Credit 1.1 CIR 9/24/2001 for educational program requirements. Applicable internationally.
