Refurbished Computer Equipment PNC is working on several branch banks that will be LEED rated. Some of the banks will include refurbished computer equipment. The material stream being considered ( computer equipment) is clearly outside the base building material stream and thus must be addressed in the Innovation category. This equipment is often part of a larger budget devoted to a building startup called Furnishings, Fittings and Equipment (FF&E). All of the materials credits are based on % of material cost or weight. To capture a material based innovation would require a similar calculation. In your Application, provide the base material budget for Furnishings, Fittings and Equipment (FF&E), and then calculate the amount of salvage/refurbished. To achieve the operational salvage requirement, utilize 5% (by cost) salvage/refurbished FF&E.
