The commissioning agent (CxA) for our project was contracted after bid documents were completed. The owner is committed to the CxA reviewing the bid documents and issuing comments and recommendations. These comments and recommendations will be reviewed by the owner and design team and incorporated into the building through change orders if necessary. We are issuing this CIR with the knowledge of the USGBC\'s Ruling dated 6/28/05 of a similar CIR dated 6/12/02. In our situation, construction has begun, but no equipment has been purchased. We feel that these efforts, in addition to a review of the submittals and the post-construction requirements, will meet the intent of this credit. Do you agree?
Your proposal is acceptable and the project will meet the intent of the credit. The credit ruling of 6/28/02 and is as follows: "Because you are outside of the typical process described by this credit, you need to make it clear that the intent of the credit was met by providing documentation of the process you implemented to achieve this.
