The copy of the LEED Pilot Phase that our project team was given has the following as Energy Credit 1: "Complete EPA\'s Stage 1 Green Lights of the Energy Star Buildings Program OR, Meet California\'s Title 24 lighting requirements." The version on USGBC\'s web site states: "Obtain a score of 75 or greater on the EPA/Energy Star Benchmarking Tool using predicted or actual energy consumption OR Meet CA\'s Title 24". Which is correct?
The correct version of LEED is labeled Pilot Version, January 1999 and the credit reads "Obtain a score of 75 or greater on the EPA/Energy Star Benchmarking Tool using predicted (simulated or calculated) or actual energy consumption OR Meet CA\'s Title 24 Lighting requirements". However, if the project has been designed with the older crtieria it will be accepted.
