Our commissioning agent is using the PECI (Portland Energy Conservation, Inc.) guidelines, recommended for smaller buildings in the January version of the LEED guide. In the April LEED guide, that has changed to BPA guidelines. Are the two interchangeable? This is important because we\'d like to use the comissioning reports to verify post-installation performance to comply with the the IMPMVP credit.
Commissioning based on either of these guidelines will be accepted, and IMPVP credit will be given as long as the requirements of that protocol are met. However, the Bonneville Power Adminsitration (BPA) guidelines are tailored to smaller buildings, simpler to follow, and may be more applicable to your project.
