I asked our engineer about exceeding ASHRAE1989/90.1 he said that WAS Title 24. (?) We beat Title 24\'s 1995 standards (those in effect when the building was designed) by 20 percent. We beat the 99 standards by 17.5%. Will this qualify us for an additional energy credit?
Ruling
Title 24 LIGHTING is the metric you must satisfy to earn the first point of the Energy Efficiency Credit. To earn the next additional point, the building must obtain a score of 80 or greater on the EPA/DOE Energy Star benchmarking Tool OR exceed ASHRAE1989/90.1by 20% or more. Applicable internationally.
