Since ASHRAE 90.1 does not apply to "areas of buildings intended primarily for manufacturing..." (Sec. 2.3 (a)) we plan to apply the standard only to areas within the building used for human comfort (ie. cafeteria, offices) and also to the entire building envelope. Is this an acceptable interpretation?
