The durability inspection checklist template indicates that the project team must incorporate at least three durability strategies for any moderate or high risks areas. Can these include LEED for Homes prerequisites?
For the purposes of ID 2.3, a project team must have at least 3 strategies to address medium or high risk areas above and beyond the prerequisites that are already required to be verified in LEED for Homes. The Green Rater has some discretion in determining what constitutes a separate "strategy" - i.e. one listing in the checklist may include multiple separate strategies. For example, compliance with the IBHS Fortified for Safer Living program may be one listing in the checklist, but it constitutes numerous durability strategies.
